End Anxiety with Past Life Regression Article written by Iah Ka Onge-Ja for local newspaper
Why would I consider doing a past life regression? How can viewing a past life end my anxiety and panic attacks? How is it possible to even connect with a memory from another lifetime? To answer these questions, first it’s important to understand a bit about the subconscious mind.
The subconscious mind stores all our life’s memories, experiences, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. It also stores our memories from all our other lifetimes as well. Why can’t we remember these other lifetimes? Simply because if we did, how would we learn? We are here in each lifetime to learn and grow from our experiences.
Anxiety and panic attacks occur when there is an irrational and illogical amount of fear flowing through your mind. Logically you know there is no reason to be in so much fear, but no matter what you say to yourself, you notice you begin to sweat and panic, your heart beats rapidly, and your mind fills with terror. You body starts trembling and shaking causing you to be short of breath, a feeling of being smothered. You may feel dizzy and unsteady, maybe even feel like you are choking, all with an overwhelming fear of dying.
A phobia develops when your anxiety and panic becomes so out of proportion or unrealistic that you find yourself persistently avoiding the situation. Simply the mere thought about a particular situation worries yourself into a frenzy when you feel distressed about what might happen when or if you have to face one of your phobic situations.
When your fear was caused in another lifetime, this anxiety and panic usually does not end until your subconscious mind actually connects with the memory of what caused it. In that moment it releases the energy charge out of your body and mind. The moment of death in another lifetime causes such tremendous fear, that it carries this memory over into another lifetime.
The last thoughts we have at the moment of our death from another lifetime contain the strongest reaction of memory. So there are times when something happens to us in our present life to trigger those traumatic moments of another lifetime. Most often we don’t remember the past life event, but we can actually experience the way we felt at that moment.
For example, if you have this number one phobia of driving on the freeway or over a bridge, your mind may suddenly say, “I can’t get out. I’m trapped.” The fear of being stuck on that freeway or bridge causes you to think, “I’m afraid I’ll lose control and crash.” And you find yourself shudder with fear that you may crash, bracing yourself to fight off the thoughts of driving off the bridge and plunging to your death.
During past life regressions it has been discovered that fear of driving on freeways and bridges for many people was caused by a lifetime when a person was in a relationship or marriage and wanted it to end, but had a fear of not being able to get out of it. That life ended tragically while being trapped in it and killed by their loved one.
While reviewing the current lifetime, it’s discovered the anxiety began when thinking about wanting to get out of their marriage, relationship, job or even wanting out of their parents’ home during their abusive childhood. It is the feeling of being trapped and having no way out.
How does this translate to driving on the freeway? Because the last thoughts at the time of death from the previous life were, “I’m trapped. I have no control. I can’t get out.” And simply driving down the freeway, needing to change lanes and you can’t because too many cars are in the way, feeling you have no control, your mind speaks the same words, “I’m trapped. I can’t get out.”
So it’s an event from another lifetime that caused this fear. Having the same thoughts and feelings in your mind now as you did then is what triggers it. This is why you could not ever figure out what caused it. It wasn’t from this lifetime. Experiencing the past-life removes and neutralizes the energy charge and gets rid of your anxiety and fear.
A hypnotherapist trained in regression therapy can take you under hypnosis to your past life. You will be guided into a relaxing state of mind similar to a dream state, but you are not asleep. The hypnotherapist will guide you into a past life where you will then describe what you are experiencing. A two-way conversation will continue throughout the session, with the hypnotherapist providing you the guidance needed to resolve your issue. It takes only one two-hour session to reveal your past life and end your anxiety.
